Veerappan of Sathya Movies is the producer of this film.  He is an ardous fan of M.G.R and has given out many successful films.  Vettaikaran is a successful film, the songs are great in this movie written by Vali and Alangudi music scored by M.S.Viswanathan.  In this film you will hear songs like 'Adanopparana sathyamana kavalkaran,' 'Mella Po mella po mellidaiale mella po,' 'ninathen vandaai nooru vayadu,'  'kattazhagu thangamagal thirunaloo.' 'kaadu koduthu kettain aha koova koova sadam.'  The film is directed by  P. Neelakantan.

The movie starts with an inspector shooting the lock to open the door and then a hand is shown shooting him.  Who is this murderer is completely forgotten until the last.  Again from here we go to the boxing ring where MGR takes on Manohar.  Thus is this film you will see all  the villians,  Ashokan, Nambiar and Manohar.  Beautiful girl Jayalalitha is a treat to watch dancing and singing with great hip movements and freely cuddling with MGR in the songs.  There is Nagesh and V.K. Ramasamy for comedy.  All in all this is a great film with suspense, comedy, thrills and songs.
